Pandi was born in 1987, he grew up in Rasht in the northern Iranian province of Gilan. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Lahijan and music at Tehran Art University. He completed his studies in Sonic Media Communication/ Sound Design at University College South of Denmark in 2017. In 2013 Pandi composed the music and sound design for a documentary film about lullabies from the Kurdistan region in northern Iraq. In 2015 he developed the prototype of a technical component for the programming language Max/MSP, which enables the use of microtonal scales of Persian music in electronic music. Since 2016, he has worked with the independent radio collective The Bridge Radio in Denmark, broadcasting radio programs from Danish institutions for refugees. Pandi creates sound installations, gives solo concerts or performs together with acoustic musicians and regularly gives workshops for audio production, interactive design and music programming. The Danish composer and drummer Jaleh Negari invited Pandi to develop a performance of her graphic scores for Klangteppich II together with the Berlin bassist Derek Shirley.
