Milad Zendehnam is a musician, music lecturer, sound engineer and producer. He studied classical Persian music and guitar at Azad University in Tehran and a dual major Jazz Performance and Music Production & Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
He was also a production manager, and faculty outreach ensemble and performance leader there until 2016. He supervised concerts and recordings by John McLaughlin, John Scofield, John Patitucci & Steve Bailey, Snarky Puppy, Dianne Reeves, Gary Husband, and Rudresh Mahanthappa, among others.
During this time, he performed concerts in North America, including with Iranian artists such as Neyanban virtuoso Mohsen Sharifian. From 2017 to 2022, he was a lecturer in sound engineering at Azad University, and in 2018 he hosted two concerts in major concert halls in Tehran for the dotar virtuoso Osman Mohammadparast (1928-2022) from Khorasan. In Khorasan, he visited some dotar players and documented their music. Zendehnam has been living in Berlin since 2022. At Klangteppich V he is a member of “Metal Theatre: Aftermath”.
