Madani grew up in Lower Saxony as the child of a German-Persian relationship. As a schoolchild she spent an exchange year in California/USA. In 2015 she moved to Berlin. She started creating music nights at the queer Monster Ronson’s Karaoke Bar. As part of the Œuvre collective she invited to the Institut Für Zukunft Leipzig for dance events with drag performances, in 2019 the collective hosted an aftershow party at the summer festival at Kampnagel in Hamburg. In 2018, she began her studies in choreography and dance at the renowned Academy for Theater and Dance SNDO in Amsterdam. In 2019 she has been performing her choreography “The Future is Shemxle” at the Theater Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, the performance was created after her manifesto of the same name from 2016. In 2020 she created performances together with the dancer and actress Sepideh Khodarahmi at OT301 Amsterdam, on invitation of the concert series “The rest is noise”. In 2021, she participated in the film “Understudies” by Berlin-based Australian artist Melanie Jame Wolf, and she was also a singer in the Rangarang Choir, which debuted at Klangteppich. Since 2020, she has been experimenting with collective dream meditations in Amsterdam, Southern Italy and Portugal with Martini Cherry Furter and Raouf Alaia, among others.
