Klangteppich e.V. was founded in 2019 for the purpose of “the promotion of art and culture, especially the promotion of Iranian art and culture in Berlin. The purpose of the statutes is realized, in particular by the organization and realization of concerts, discussions, exhibitions and other events, by establishing and operating of a residence scholarship for artists from Iran. Thereby the nonprofit will promote the exchange of knowledge and culture between Germany and Iran, and aims at increasing the visibility of Iranian art and culture.“
